המהפכה הדיגיטלית, או בשמה האחר המהפכה התעשייתית הרביעית, נמצאת בעיצומה, והמערכות המפותחות היום בעולם הולכות ונהיות חכמות יותר, גמישות יותר ומאפשרות יכולות רבות ומגוונות יותר. "הנדסה חכמה למערכות חכמות" היא כותרתו של כנס INCOSE_IL 2019 - הכנס הבינלאומי העשירי של האיגוד הישראלי להנדסת מערכות, שיתקיים בתאריכים 26-27 במרץ בהרצליה. מטרתו העיקרית של כנס זה הינה להפנות את הזרקור לעבר התחכום והיכולות הגדלות והולכות הן של המערכות עצמן והן של המהנדסים, ובעיקר מהנדסי המערכות, העוסקים בתכנונן ובבנייתן.

כנס INCOSE_IL , הנערך אחת לשנתיים, הפך עם השנים לאירוע המרכזי של הנדסת מערכות בישראל והוא לא רק מהווה מוקד משיכה למאות מהנדסי מערכות, אלא גם זוכה להכרה ולהערכה ע"י הקהילות הבינלאומיות, כגון INCOSE ו- IEEE , אשר נציגים בכירים מהם ישתתפו בכנס. בזכות התמיכה של מכון גורדון להנדסת מערכות בטכניון והחסות של התעשיות והאקדמיות בישראל הצלחנו לבנות תוכנית כנס עשירה בתכנים, עדכנית ומעוררת השראה.

• היום הראשון של הכנס יכלול הרצאת אורח של Prof. Edward F. Crawley מ- 15 ,MIT מושבים בחמישה מסלולים שיכללו הרצאות ופאנלים במגוון נושאים, תערוכה מקצועית ופאנל סיכום שיוקדש לתרומתן של הנשים להנדסת המערכות.

• ביום השני ייערכו שלושה סמינרים של מומחים מחו"ל בנושאים של ארכיטקטורה מערכתית, הנדסת מערכות מבוססת מודלים ) MBSE ( ושילוב של טכנולוגיות מתקדמות, כגון בינה מלאכותית, IoT ומיחשוב ענן, בתכן המערכתי.

• ביום חמישי, 28 במרץ, נערוך סיור באקדמיה ובתעשיה הישראלית לאורחינו המכובדים מחו"ל.

Prof. Amir Tomer, Conference General Chair

Amir is the head of the software engineering department at Kinneret College on the sea of Galilee. Previously he held various managerial and technical positions in Software and Systems Engineering at RAFAEL – Advanced Defense Systems., for over 25 years. For the last 24 years he has been a senior lecturer at the Computer Science Faculty and the Systems Engineering Master's program at the Technion, Haifa, and to industrial workshops. Garry is a Senior Fellow and the Engineering Outreach Program Manager for Lockheed Martin. His systems engineering (SE) experience spans the full life cycle and includes technical leadership roles in both programs and business functions. Edward is the Ford Professor of Engineering at MIT. From 2011 to 2016 he served as the Founding President of the Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology, Moscow, a new university focused on science and innovation. Prior to that he served as the Director of the Bernard M. Gordon – MIT Engineering Leadership Program, an effort to significantly strengthen the quality of engineering leadership education for competitiveness and innovation. From 2003 to 2006 he served as the Executive Director of the Cambridge – MIT Institute, a joint venture with Cambridge University, funded by the British government and industry, with a mission to understand and generalize how universities act as engines of innovation and economic growth. For the previous seven years, he served as the Department Head of Aeronautics and Astronautics at MIT.

Matthew Hause Tutorial Lecturer

Matthew Hause is an Engineering Fellow at PTC, is a member of the OMG SysML specification team, and the co-chair of the UPDM group. He has been developing real-time systems for over 35 years. He started out working in the Power Systems Industry, and has been involved in Process Control, Communications, SCADA, Distributed Control, military systems and many other areas of real-time systems.

Dr. Avigdor Zonnenshain, Gordon Center for SE, Technion, Tutorials Day Chair

Avigdor is currently a Senior Research Fellow at The Gordon Center for Systems Engineering at the TECHNION ,Israel Institute of Technology. Formerly, he held several senior positions at RAFAEL in Quality & Reliability Management & Engineering, in Project Management & Systems Engineering. Dr. Zonnenshain is a former President of the Israeli Society for Systems Engineering - INCOSE_ IL and now he is an active member in the management of the organization. Dr. Ram Oron, INCOSE_IL President and the Third Day Chair

Ram Oron received his Ph.D. in physics from the Weizmann Institute of Science in the field of lasers. In early days of his career he served as a system engineer at IAI. Later, he was one of the founders and CTO of KiloLambda, a start-up company in the field of optics. In the last 11 years, Ram is with Orbotech, leading system engineering and physics activities in the development of several multi-disciplinary systems. Ram is active in the system engineering community, and since 2017 he servers as the president of the Israeli Chapter of INCOSE.
